The
Parkside Players is a non-profit community theater group which has been
bringing affordable live theater to the Forest Hills Community since
1981. Located at Grace Lutheran Church on the corner of Union Turnpike
and 71st Road (just south of Metropolitan Ave.) in Forest Hills, New
York, the Parkside Players produces three shows per year (fall, winter
and spring). Membership is voluntary, however to maintain membership
you are required to participate in the production of at least two shows
per year. Parkside Players has been awarded the 1998/1999
"Harold" Award for Best Theatre Company in Queens by the Forest
Hills Ledger.
THE PARKSIDE PLAYERS ARE ALIVE AND KICKING! Although we’ve been shut down since March due to the pandemic, we are still planning to resume production as soon as it is safe to do so. We are making tentative plans for a special production in November if the situation permits. And we will definitely resume work on our production of “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” as soon as it is feasible. Stay tuned!
